Here are three key points that you should pay special attention to if you want to be a successful real estate agent:
1. Find a coach. When you’re self-employed, you don’t have a boss, but you should have a coach. It’s good to have someone to bounce ideas off of. You don’t want that person to be a family member who doesn’t fully understand the real estate business.
2. Use a CRM. Many people use KB Core, but there are plenty of different options out there.
3. Build a social media presence on multiple platforms. You can do this by investing in ads, but there are other strategies as well.
When I was just starting out, I felt overwhelmed by this list. However, I came to the realization that it’s okay to spend money on these things now to help you make more money in the future. If you budget for these costs and have a financial statement, you’ll be running your business as a real business and find more success as a result.
